Drawing in the Galleries

Visitors of all ages can pick up a pencil and sketch artworks on view during this drop in drawing session at the National Gallery. The activity is set up in the Fred and Elizabeth Fountain Garden Court and is meant to encourage creative expression while exploring the galleries. It runs from 2:30 to 4 pm daily and is part of the Gallery’s summer 2026 programming at 380 Sussex Drive. The session continues through August 31.
