Ottawa Fringe Festival

Ottawa’s biggest theatre festival wraps its 29th edition with 62 productions across 10 downtown venues through June 28, covering stand-up comedy, gothic horror, dance, musical theatre, immersive magic, and bilingual shows. The main hub is Arts Court at 2 Daly Avenue, with additional shows at La Nouvelle Scène Gilles Desjardins (333 King Edward Ave.), Knox Presbyterian Church, Club SAW, and the free outdoor Fringe Courtyard at 67 Nicholas Street. A one-time $5 Fringe Pin is required to attend any show, and individual tickets are $14 with 100% of revenue going directly to the performing artists. June 28 is Best of Fest closing night, when the most popular show from each venue returns for a final encore performance. Multi-show passes are available in person at the Arts Court box office: 5 shows for $65, 10 shows for $120. Event details can change, so verify with the organizer before attending.
