Ottawa Jail Paranormal Investigation

June 12 @ 9:00 am - June 13 @ 10:00 pm
CA$76.99

Step inside one of Ontario’s most haunted buildings for a 3.5-hour ghost hunting experience at the historic Carleton County Jail, built in 1833 and the site of executions, suicides, and murders over nearly 170 years. Participants receive a full briefing on the jail’s haunted history and paranormal investigation equipment before venturing inside in the dark to collect their own evidence with guidance from Phantoms of Yore investigators. Tickets are strictly limited to small groups and sell out quickly; advance booking at hauntedwalk.com is essential and transportation is not provided. This experience is best suited to adults and older participants given the intensity of the content, low-light conditions, and confined spaces. The jail is at 75 Nicholas Street in Centretown, accessible by OC Transpo on multiple downtown routes.
Several executions were carried out on-site, in addition to the suicides and murders. Due to the jail’s dark history and frequent ghost stories, it has attracted the interest of ghost hunters from across North America. This 3.5-hour special event will begin with a full briefing on the haunted history of the site, the equipment to be used, and the best practices to follow when collecting and analyzing evidence. Then you will have the opportunity to venture inside the jail – in the dark – to see what you can discover. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to investigate one of the most sought-after haunted sites in Ontario. With such small groups, tickets are extremely limited. Transportation not provided.
