Roderick Cox and the Scottish Symphony With the NAC Orchestra

Roderick Cox joins the NAC Orchestra for Mendelssohn’s Scottish Symphony and songs set to Toni Morrison’s poetry. South African soprano Vuvu Mpofu performs André Previn’s Honey and Rue, six settings of Morrison’s poetry, and Jocelyn Morlock’s Cobalt opens the concert. Performances are October 14 and 15 at 8 PM in Southam Hall, run about 2 hours with intermission, and tickets start at $33.
