Summer Indigenous Art Market 2026

The NAC Indigenous Theatre hosts the annual Summer Indigenous Art Market in the Gail and David O’Brien Atrium at the National Arts Centre, bringing together Metis, Inuit, and First Nations makers to sell and showcase their work directly to the Ottawa community. Vendors offer jewelry, beadwork, paintings, sculptures, moccasins, leatherwork, clothing, and more, with a new selection of artists at each market. Admission to the market is free and there is step-free accessible entry into the atrium space. Payment depends on the individual vendor, with some accepting card and some cash, and an ATM is available on site. This is a welcoming, free, and culturally enriching event suitable for all ages and a meaningful way to support Indigenous artists and artisans.
Event details can change, so verify with the organizer before attending.
