Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend

Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend is Canada’s largest and most celebrated annual road race event, featuring seven races including the Ottawa Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, 2K, and Kids Marathon, all starting and finishing at Ottawa City Hall.
The event includes a Running and Fitness Expo (May 21–23), a Festival Plaza with a beer garden and live DJ, elite athlete competition, and charity fundraising through the Desjardins Charity Challenge.

All registered participants receive free OC Transpo transit on race weekend, and public transit is the recommended way to access downtown given road closures.

The event welcomes runners of all abilities from beginners to elites, and spectators are welcome to cheer along the route for free. Race registration is required and many distances are sold out; check the Run Ottawa website for availability.
